Do you love lilacs? Lavender? Do you also love these colors on your nails?

Light purples on the nails can be very relaxing, soothing and very springtime. They can also be very eye-catching, given how some of them are almost white, and light-reflecting.

Today we are going to show you three swatches of light purple nails from three different brands - OPI, essie and Olive & June.

We are going above pastels to hit on some of the lightest purple nail shades you can find in the mass market.

Below, let’s start by checking out an OPI Infinite Shine Hue is the Artist? swatch:

OPI Infinite Shine Hue is the Artist?

OPI Hue is the Artist?, product number ISLM94, is from the Spring 2020 Mexico City Collection. It’s shown here in two coats, and it is a very, very, light purple, almost a lilac white nail polish.

If you like white, but purple is your favorite color, this shade is for you. It looks stunning outside in bright sunlight, and it is designed to be fully opaque.

essie stretch your wings

The essie stretch your wings, product number 1725, swatch above is from the Spring 2022 Flight of Fantasy Collection.

It is light purple nail polish with a bit of pink, and it is probably the most pinkish color saturated light purple nail polish in this post.

It is shown here in two coats and does dry on the somewhat slower side, so consider using a fan, if you want to speed up your manicure break.

Olive & June TT

Olive & June TT, shown in the swatches above, is a light purple, almost lavender nail polish that leans light gray. It’s a very relaxing shade that applies easily with the included wide fan brush.

It is shown here in three coats of color with the Olive & June Top Coat, however you could get away with two coats if you needed to.

So to recap…

OPI’s Infinite Shine Hue is the Artist? is the most white of the light purples in this post, essie stretch your wings, leans pink and is very saturated, and Olive & June TT is a lavender with a splash of gray.

They are all unique, and all pretty in their own way.
