Pastel colors are light, delicate and they can be quite eye-catching.

While pastel nail colors can sometimes be considered chalky and thick when applying, the formulas of pastels can be diverse, and there are thinner paints that are easy to apply out there.
To give an idea of what’s available, below you will find swatches of pastel nail colors from OPI, in both the original formula of OPI and the longwear formula of OPI called Infinite Shine.
Infinite Shine is designed for 7-10 day wear, where the original formula is meant for 4-5 day wear.
The base coat is called “Infinite Shine 1 Primer” and the Infinite Shine top coat is called “Infinite Shine 3 Gloss.”
OPI original formula polishes can usually be mixed and matched with any base or top coat.
