If you have nail tips, 3 thin coats is what you’ll most likely need for full coverage.
Though if you really wanted to, you could do 2 thick coats on long nails, keeping in mind thick coats slow down the dry time.

The Insta-Dri line colors are shiny enough they generally do not need one.
