Revlon was first launched in 1932 and as one of the first nail polish brands on the market, they hold a special place in my heart.

Their founders, the Revson brothers, believed that in the factory they make cosmetics, but that what they’re really selling is hope.

Hope is defined as a state of cherished anticipation. It is the positive expectation that you hold with confidence that something that you want to happen will happen. It’s the prediction of success and fulfillment.

I’ve felt the emotion of cherished expectation when a new nail polish is about to come home. I think, “this one is going to be so good” or “this one is perfect for right now.”

Haven’t you brought home nail polish expecting that would make your life better in some way? Isn’t that why we buy most things?

The good thing about nail polish is that it does sometimes make life better. A little glitter can go a long way in a lot of situations. The way the pigments play with the light can be inspiring, ignite creativity and spread happiness.

In my humble opinion, nail polishes can be like little magic elixirs in a bottle.
