Magenta as a color is a blend of violet and red hues. In the color wheel, it falls exactly between red and blue.
Fuchsia is sometimes another name that is given for magenta, and based on our experience, you can find magenta somewhere in the color wheel between pink, purple and red.
It’s vibrant. It can be warm or cool, light or dark. It is somewhat of a color chameleon, like mauve.
Magenta was the Pantone color of 2023. Specifically, Viva Magenta (18-1750).
