Londontown recently released a set of 4 Shimmering Nail Highlighters, and today we’re going to share with you 3 of these shades.

The Shimmering Nail Highlighters were inspired by makeup highlighters and they are part of Londontown’s Kur line, which provides care while you wear.

If you’re a glitter fan, you’ll know that glitter polishes that are good for your nails are a rarity. You usually have to sacrifice nail care when you wear a glitter shade.

Glitters are known for their remarkable ability to embed themselves into the nail, making them difficult to remove and thus, they can be somewhat damaging to the natural nail.

The Shimmering Nail Highlighters are different from other glitter polishes because these highlighters are meant to be conditioning shimmers - they include nourishing ingredients like Buckwheat extract, Evening Primrose extract, Chamomile extract, Rapeseed flower extract, Garlic bulb extract, Cucumber extract and Vitamin E.

Like all of Londontown’s Kur formulas, they're also 21+ free, vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and made in the USA.

Aside from being “good for your nail” glitters, what I like most about the Londontown Shimmering Nail Highlighters is that they look good in 1, 2 or 3 coats.

Each coat provides an even finish, so it is really up to you with how much color coverage you want.

Keep in mind though, they are designed to be sheer, so even at 3 coats, some of your nails’ natural appearance will still peak through.

While you can wear these highlighters on their own, they’re paired with the Londontown Get Strong Nail Hardener and Gel Genius Top Coat in the photos.

All swatches below are shown in 3 coats to provide a solid idea for the color tones of each shade.

Starting with Londontown Stardust:

Stardust

If you’re a fan of opalescent nail shades, Stardust is for you.

The sparkle is simply dazzling. Stardust is a cool white shimmer base, with a blue, green and gold flash, which gives it an ethereal, multidimensional look.

It sparkles the best in glowy evening lighting, where it'll show off a myriad of eye-catching hues.

Mirror Ball

Like Stardust, Mirror Ball is a white shimmer base, but the finish is warmer - think champagne silver.

This one reminds me of the sparkle of fresh snow. If you love snow, this color will bring to your mind the joy of those lovely little ice crystals.

It also reflects a lot of light, for a near-chrome finish.

Londontown Shimmering Nail Highlighter Sunkissed formula

Sunkissed

This is a light pink shimmer with gold flecks throughout. You could also call it gold with pink glitter, as it has an abundance of gold shimmers in it.

Either way, Sunkissed is a warm finish. It’s flattering on pale, winter hands, making them look a bit tanner.

To recap, the Londontown Shimmering Nail Highlighters:

  • Are unique to the market because they’re nail conditioning glitters

  • Offer eye-catching sparkle

  • Provide an even finish in 1, 2 or 3 coats

  • Can be worn alone or paired with a base and top coat for added manicure longevity

These polishes pack a lot of sparkle, they’re good for your nails and you can wear them in just 1 coat for a quick manicure when you’re on the go, making them a great choice for busy days and travel.

Even if your days aren’t that busy and you aren’t traveling, some days you just need a quick manicure and these are good for that too.
