The Believe Beauty mission statement is to create a makeup brand that offers premium formulas, packaged beautifully, in soft, classic glam shades for $5.50 and under.
They offer skin care, makeup, fragrance, nail care and nail polish.
Their collections are separated by finish and price point - Gel Effect, Just Jewel, Jelly Glaze, Jetsetter Mani, Cover Me in Chrome, Matte About It and Ultra Shine.
Below are swatches of three nail polishes from Believe Beauty -
French Kiss
Shown in 2 coats, French Kiss is a milky-sheer pinkish light beige that's in the same color vein as essie's ballet slippers.
It’s from the Ultra Shine Collection that retails for $1.25, easy to work with and a color you can wear with anything.
Spiced Up
Shown in 2 coats and from the Just Jewel Collection which retails for $3.35, Spiced Up is a rich burnt orange glitter with gold shimmer.
Spiced Up is a perfect late fall shade that applies and removes easily.
Red Velvet
Red Velvet is another color from the Just Jewel Collection. It’s a burgundy pearl with warm cranberry undertones and micro purple glitters.
This one takes a little longer to dry; give it 10-15 minutes between coats and finish with your favorite quick dry top coat.
One thing to note is the bottle size.
Believe Beauty bottles are just 10mL; about the same size as Cirque Colors bottles which are 11mL. An essie bottle is 13.5mL, an OPI bottle is 15mL, and Orly bottles are a whopping 18mL.
The Believe Beauty Just Jewel glitter formulas are thicker, so you will see the fill line after just 1-2 uses.
That said, if you’re using these polishes a few times a year before moving on to the next shade, the bottle size may not matter much, especially if you have plenty of polishes to choose from in your collection already.
All in all, the Believe Beauty polishes have a great range of colors and finishes at an attractive, accessible price point. You can pick up a small haul of them for less than $20!
